Thank you for keeping Rose Park and Fairpark community together and not dividing up these communities as slices of pie to the neighboring Davis County, West Valley.  We are one community and should remain united in this redistricting process…

this is better than the Senatorial map, so what gives with these guy’s?

I’m showing that it’s up and running. Some files are currently moving between two servers, so some areas of the site may not be operational for a few minutes. But bear with us, it all should be restored shortly.

Let me know if you have continued issues.

I am not seeing the map anymore.

  • Spencer Nitz

It should be back now. Thanks for letting us know.

The map shows the boundary going through my house.  So if my wife makes me sleep on the couch, am I in the other district?

  • CPSmurf

Yes. Just make sure you make up by election day…

I woneder if the districts might have been divided differently if the lines had been drawn by voters rather than elected officials.  We all have biases and different perspectives, but I have to think that if the right group of citizens were brought together without legislative constaint the lines would probably be different maybe even ”better”..
The concept is that we are plenty smart enough to elect these good legislators and we can be trusted to organize districts according to the will of the people, too!  Would love to know if others feel similarly.
    Shalom
